About Angela Taylor Training
Angela Taylor is a qualified and experienced health & safety consultant, specialising in providing education, training and advice to all levels within a business.
She has a Post Graduate in Education, holds the NEBOSH Diploma and in addition is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Working initially for the Ministry of Defence for 10 years providing Management Training for key personnel so as to enable them to identify risk and provide workable plans to address and manage the risk, her particular focus was given to the analysis of situations, effective communication and taking into account human perception and reasoning. On appointment to Director of Training working within the Insurance Industry for one of the top 3 International Brokers, providing specialist training and advice to organizations and Insurance Companies, she successfully advised a wide range of industries including Public, Private and Charitable institutions in identifying, assessing and controlling risk, this being achieved through training members of the management team in sound management techniques and advising on how to implement these techniques in a practical and effective fashion.
Angela has spent over 20 years within the field of education and Management training, 10 of which have focussed particularly on the management of health & safety risks. She has also acted as a Chief Examiner during her time with the MOD and has continued to devise, assess & deliver systems of testing, particularly in relation to providing evidence needed to satisfy legal requirements.
Angela is able to provide bespoke training courses and methods for assessment so as to demonstrate that staff have received comprehensible information as required by law. She can also advise organizations on how to demonstrate that this information can be used in a practical, workable situation.
Her particular interests include the provision of training in Accident Investigation and in the analysis of human rationale in decision making. She has a proven track record of implementing systems to enable organizations to gather evidence demonstrating compliance with legal requirements and of integrating individuals into an organisation, resulting in a change in attitude towards Group safety requirements.
