About Peter Borodajko
Peter Borodajko is an experienced consultant specialising in Health & Safety Management; Environmental Management and Project Management.
He is a Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (MIOSH) and is also a Chartered Chemical Engineer having studied at UMIST. He is also qualified as an Assessor and Internal Verifier for Waste Management and Health & Safety NVQs.
Peter has 25 years of experience working in a variety of industries such as Recycling, Waste Management, Chemical Manufacture and Foundries. His experience spans a range of organisations from Blue Chip to SMEs with a variety of hazard profiles. Since 1995 he has been working as a manager/consultant involved in EHS and Project Management. Prior to that he gained invaluable experience in Operations and Project Management.
Peter’s proven ability and varied experience, together with a highly developed understanding of operations management enables him to carry out the role of Health & Safety and/or Environmental Adviser in a pragmatic and results oriented fashion.
He specialises in the following activities:
- H&S Performance Accounting and Improvement
- Writing and implementation of EHS Policies and Management Systems covering a broad range of EHS issues including ISO14001.
- Carrying out risk assessments including General, Fire, COSHH, DSE, Manual Handling, Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR).
- Integration of Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and Training.
- Coaching and assessment of all levels of personnel in EHS Management.
- Accident and Incident Investigation and Management.
- Managing Occupational Health Provision.
- Managing Emergency Preparedness.
- Liaison with HSE, Fire Officers, Insurance Personnel, Environmental Regulators, Suppliers.
- Interim Management.
- Managing Technical Projects.
