A 1 day course intended for managers and supervisors whose work operations involve manual handling.
Aims and objectives
To enable delegates to:
Recognise the injuries associated with manual handling operations in addition to the longer term ill- health effects.
Identify the requirements of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 and understand the hierarchy of action required
Know when and how a risk assessment should be carried out under the Regulations.
Know, and be able to demonstrate, correct manual handling techniques.
